Below is a graph showing data from one of the settings taking part in the project. Each setting that took part was graded on the same 7 strands of the ECERS-R framework which was felt most appropriate for the project. In blue, are the settings’ initial scores from the start of the project. In gold, are the setting’s scores at the end of the project. As you can see, this setting has improved in all sections possible so that all their ECERS-R results were marked at the maximum grade of 7.
This setting commented that using the ECERS-R framework meant that:
“I could clearly focus on what I should be seeing in the children’s learning environment, whilst being able to see the steps required to get it to that high level”
