With the Renfrew Test’s acting as a formal standardised test to measure change, practitioners also carried out their own observations on their chosen children across the year and measured the changes they observed in these children for a variety of factors. These factors were:
- Child Language (Listening and Attention, Understanding, Speaking)
- Physical Development (Moving And Handling, Health And Self-Care)
- Personal, Social And Emotional Development (Self Confidence And Self Awareness, Managing Feelings And Behaviour, Making Relationships)
- Literary Skills (Reading, Writing)
